We shot this outfit a little while ago when it was still warm out. The temperature has dropped quite a bit since, and one day boom – time to bring out the winter jacket. I love the layered look of this print dress+ slip dress combo. Something about it, the chocker + the new layered hair style made me feel like a total 90’s chick. Z and I went for coffee that morning to the St. Lawrence Market and as we were leaving the coffee shop I felt like Rachel from Friends. It was a super weird and cool flashback to those days. Of course, back then I was probably only 12 and going through an awkward teenager phase and collecting stickers as my hobby. But I do love re-visiting old fashion trends and giving them a slightly trendier spin. If you have been following you probably know I have a huge love for nightwear so naturally I gravitate towards pieces that are nightwear/lingerie inspired. The layering possibilities with slip dresses are endless and I also love the sporty look of layering over a plain white tee- shirt.

Can we also talk about this wall?  I want this painted in my apartment somewhere because it’s just a good reminder that after work, well.. you deserve a treat and it could be anything. If I could choose it would probably be “after work is cake time” anything involving desert will do. Chocolate works too :)  Although I could probably use a nap too. My little darling Zasha is turning one next month but we are nowhere near weaning her from these boobies.

Hope you guys are enjoying the last few days of October! I would love to hear what your 90’s fashion picks are!

Thanks for reading:)
