Our family is in town for my sister’s big day today. She is having a small civil wedding ceremony at City Hall and we are stoked to see her tie the knot! Their actually wedding will be in May and it’s going to be so so great! It’s been 5 years since Z and I were married in that same chapel at Toronto’s City Hall and it’s going to be surreal going back there two babies later.
I am also excited to share with you this outfit from our date night the other day. How cute is this top from SheIn? I fell in love with the black and white gingham pattern, the boat neck collar and of course, that bow belt. You literally get to tie yourself up like a present with this top and I love that you can also tie it at the back for a cleaner look in the front. Wide sleeves and off the shoulder seem to be on everyones mind these days and I find these puff sleeves so refreshing. I was a bit worried the puffy sleeves would get in the way but they are cropped at the perfect place and there is no obstruction of movement at all. This is my biggest pet peeve with funky sleeves! I styled this top with these cute fringe jeans from Zara. And speaking of Zara, if you happen to love their clothes like me, SheIn has similar fashion forward pieces at a more affordable price point. The best part if you’re not loosing much on quality either so that’s a win win!
Alright, off to get ready.
Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
